The Two Rivers and Four Lakes ring water system is the crystal necklace of Guilin, a city of clear mountains and beautiful waters. Mulong Lake is undoubtedly a crystal bead in this necklace that reveals the historical civilization of Guilin. The ancient Song Dynasty city wall, which has silently accompanied Mulong Lake for 800 years, is a tough and steadfast man weathered by time. Mulong Lake, quietly flowing season after season at the foot of the Song city wall, is a graceful, beautiful, and affectionate daughter. The overall layout of Mulong Lake Scenic Area features a Song-style architectural complex complemented by traditional rock stacking, water management, and planting, including Song Street, Half Street, and the Ancient Song City. It also includes a natural ecological landscape belt at the northern foot of Diecai Mountain, with viewing forests, grasslands, and Diecai Mountain as the main spatial interface. The Mulong Pagoda standing in the Song City is modeled after the Longhua Pagoda in Shanghai. The scenic area's buildings are all reinforced concrete Song-style tower structures combined with traditional wooden decorations, thus imbuing Song Street with an ancient charm.
