To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Chinese People’s Volunteers’ to resist the United States and aid Korea, further stimulate patriotism and carry forward the glorious tradition of patriotism, the Party branch of Elephant Trunk Hill Scenic Area carried out a theme party day event in the afternoon of Oct 26, organizing all party members, potential members, applicants for party membership, Communist Youth League members, and department deputy managers to watch the anti-US aggression and aid Korea theme movie "King Kong River".
Spirit of Resisting U.S. & Aid Korea
In the war to resist U.S. aggression and aid Korea, the heroic Chinese People’s Volunteers always promote the spirit of patriotism that the interests of the country and people are above everything else, and the patriotism of fighting for the dignity of the motherland, as well as the spirit of revolutionary heroism that sacrifices themselves. They always maintained a high morale and the spirit of revolutionary optimism. They always kept the spirit of internationalism to fulfill the mission entrusted by the country and people, dedicating everything to fight for the cause of peace and justice for mankind. They forged the great spirit of resisting U.S. aggression and aid to Korea.
What learned
After watching the film, the excitement of the party members was beyond words. The film inspired everyone’s incomparable love for our country, and inspired everyone “not to forget the original aspiration and keep the mission in mind”, to work hard, not be afraid of any difficulties while shouldering the new mission of the new era. The mission is to devote to the future work with more energy, and contribute to the realization of the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation!
The "Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Strengthening the Party's Political Construction" proposes: adhere to and improve political ceremonies such as the oath to join the party and the celebration of the "political birthday" to make the life in the party solemn, serious and standardized. Today, the purpose of organizing party members in the scenic spot to celebrate the "political birthday" is very clear, which is to guide party members to always remember their "first identity" and play a vanguard and exemplary role. "Political birthday" is the starting point for awakening the identity of party members; "Political birthday" allows us to trace the root and think more deeply about "why we join the party, what to do in the party, and what to leave for the party".
In the afternoon of October 26, the Party branch of Elephant Trunk Hill Scenic Area organized a party day event with the theme of "Political Birthday" for party members. Taking this event as an opportunity, it stimulated the exemplary leadership role of party members, reinforce the cohesion, and deeply promoted the implementation of various tasks in the scenic spot.
In the event, the party branch celebrated the political birthday for 34 party members in the event, and presented political birthday cards, and invited the 30-year old party member Long Qiaosheng to share his growth experience. Party members ate cake together. Besides, Hai Mo, secretary of the party branch, led party members to revisit the oath of joining the party, encouraging party members not to forget their original aspirations, but keep their mission in mind and move forward.
