Elephant Trunk Hill is located at the intersection of Guilin’s Taohua River and Li River. In 1995, it was named the city symbol of Guilin. The main attractions of the scenic area include Elephant Trunk Hill, Shuiyue Cave, Elephant Eye Rock, Puxian Tower, Sanhua Wine Kiln, Love Island, Yunfeng Temple Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Revolutionary Site Exhibition Hall, etc. The famous Xiangshan Shuiyue Cave contains 22 stone carvings of Tang and Song culture and history. With 3065 characters, it is the only water cave with the most stone inscriptions in Tang and Song Dynasties. In 2013 and 2014, he was awarded the title of "China's Most Beautiful Moon Viewing Place" twice by CCTV. In 2016, it was selected as the venue for the Southern Branch of the 2017 Spring Festival Gala of the Year of the Rooster. Therefore, Elephant Trunk Hill is not only a representative of Guilin's landscape, but also it has become a symbol of harmony between man and nature in Chinese landscapes.
